STEM Veda, a non-profit organization founded by sophomore Rohan Goyal, recently received a $2,500 grant from Texas Instruments to expand its operations. This is in addition to the $20,000 in funding already secured by the organization, which was founded in 2022 to provide STEM education to underserved communities through workshops and hands-on activities. Partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley, STEM Veda has visited club locations in the Bay Area to conduct event such as robotics workshops and has also held sessions in rural India. The organization continues to seek volunteers. More information can be found on its website, stemveda.org.
