This past summer, ninth grader Selena Ghane (pictured above, holding trophy) was selected to compete in the Girls Volleyball National Division at the 2025 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Dallas. Despite playing through a minor injury, Ghane went on to help her team (Academy West 14 National, which won the NorCal Invitational in June) reach a number 13 national ranking. Ghane currently captains the junior varsity volleyball team, which faces off against Castilleja this Saturday during Harker Day.
