The Day of Understanding, held at the upper school on Nov. 8, led a group of 60 students through activities designed to promote media literacy and cross-cultural empathy. The inaugural installment of the event was bookended by talks from journalist and author Atia Abawi. Harker student journalists were present, and their full coverage is now live on Harker Aquila.
