Upper school art teacher Pilar Agüero-Esparza was recently named a recipient of a Teaching Artist Cohort grant from the Center for Craft, an organization that supports artists through grants, fellowships and other programs. The Teaching Artist Cohort grant is open to artists who teach and provides $10,000 in funding and a six-month “cohort experience” with special career development programs, mentorship, networking and peer-to-peer learning.
