A team of four Harker students competed in Atlanta at the national championships for Quiz Bowl – the “Super Bowl” of the National Academic Quiz Tournaments. Rising senior Timothy Deng, who has competed in Quiz Bowl previously, and rising juniors Ethan Cheng, Elijah Levanon and Pascal Qin, all of whom were making their national Quiz Bowl debuts, ultimately ranked 65th out of 336 teams. The students had earned their bid at the national competition during a Northern California tournament earlier in the spring.
