Harker Conservatory musical theater certificate candidates Tom Campisi and Simon Kirjner, both grade 11, have been nominated for Rita Moreno Awards for Supporting Actor and Lead Actor, respectively, for the performances in the 2025 upper school spring musical, “Guys and Dolls.” Winners will be announced at the Rita Moreno Awards show, held May 12 at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. This annual competition, hosted by Broadway San Jose, highlights achievement in high school musical theater programs located north of Santa Barbara. Nominees who win Lead Actor and Lead Actress are rewarded with a trip to New York City for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards.
