Winter season off and running as boys and girls soccer pick up big wins
Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team improved to 3-0 on the young season as it defeated Monta Vista 3-1 and Santa Clara 1-0 last week. This week, the Eagles host Lynbrook on Wednesday and travel to Valley Christian on Friday.
Girls Soccer
Last week, the girls soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Harbor and a 7-0 win over Independence in its opening games of the season. This week, the Eagles host Pacific Collegiate on Tuesday and Andrew Hill on Thursday.
Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team went 1-2 in the James Lick Tournament over the weekend to go to 3-3 on the season. In the opening game, the Eagles lost to American High 45-48 with Jack Connors, grade 12, leading the way with 15 points. The boys then defeated host James Lick 52-27 with Arjun Virmani, grade 11, scoring 14 points. In the final game, the Eagles fell to Fremont 48-52 with Giovanni Rofa, grade 12, scoring 14 points. This week, the boys host St. Thomas More High School on Wednesday night.
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team is back in action this week with a home game against Pioneer on Wednesday.
